The deal is simple. Whenever we place a candidate you have recommended to us, we’ll send you $500!* Even better, you can refer as many people as you like – so the more you refer, the more money you could make.

Our clients have a continued demand for high calibre solicitors, legal executives and support staff. We believe that the best way to find quality candidates is to have them recommended. If you are aware of a friend or colleague who is nearing the end of their current position, or is looking for a new position, please contact us and provide us with their details.

We know from experience that personal recommendations and word of mouth are extremely valuable in business. That’s why we want to reward you when you send skilled legal professionals our way!

What do I have to do?

Simply email your friends name, personal email address, phone number, current position and employer, and the vacancy you are recommending them for, to the email address on our Contact webpage (Please get your friends permission first). Please also include your contact details. (Personal details will not be made available to any other third parties without prior approval).

When will I get paid?

We’ll send you your $500 when the person you have referred to us successfully completes their probation period (typically after three months).

*Terms and Conditions

• All referral schemes exclude the referral of candidates who are currently registered with Leo Recruitment Limited (“Leo Legal Recruitment”) as actively seeking a new position.
• The referral fee will only be paid if the referred individual is placed by Leo Legal Recruitment and has completed more than 3 months employment in a permanent role of 30 or more hours per week.
• The referring party must notify the referred person and seek consent for their details to be given to Leo Legal Recruitment.
• It is the referring party’s responsibility to contact Leo Legal Recruitment after 3 month’s employment in order to claim their entitlement.
• There are no limits to the number of qualified referrals an individual can make.
• Referrals must be made to Leo Legal Recruitment before, or at registration, of the referred candidate – referrals made after a candidate has contacted us are not valid.
• To qualify for a referral fee, your referral must be referred and placed in one of our advertised vacancies within a 6 month period.
• Payments will only be made on the initial placement only – extensions and further placements are excluded.
• You must request your referral fee in writing and within 4 weeks of the referred candidate starting their job.
• We can only accept referrals for people already working in New Zealand, or those who are eligible to work in New Zealand.
• Leo Legal Recruitment reserves the right to offer an alternative reward of the same value at any time.
• Candidates can only be referred once. In the event that a candidate is referred more than once, only the first person to refer that candidate will be eligible for a reward under this scheme.
• Leo Legal Recruitment reserves the right to vary or terminate all or part of the terms of the referral scheme at any time without notice.
• Leo Legal Recruitment accepts no liability in respect of any tax implications that may arise from this reward.
• In the event of any dispute Leo Legal Recruitment’s decision is final.
